Dear Associates, Clients, Stakeholders and Friends of Lucas Group:

For over 38 years, Lucas Group has prevailed and grown stronger with each new year. I view 2009 as a year of challenges brought on by changes in the economic landscape. Having been through four previous downturns, I have learned this is the ideal opportunity to build business and good times are when you harvest the results. Both my leadership team and I are prepared to excel and grow in this new environment.

Some highlights from FY2008 which will assist us in our growth for FY2009:

• We have continued to enhance our brand through the renewal of The Wall Street Journal contract. Primary focus will include online advertising through The Wall Street Journal Careers and Business sections.
   
• We branded our Corporate Headquarters with our name, Lucas Group, on the front of the building. Our offices are located on the major business address of Peachtree Street in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA.
   
• We rolled out two national training programs for on-boarding new associates, New Associates Training I and II. All new associates go through the same training/orientation format which has created positive reviews and given our employees a unique edge.
   
• Geographically, we expanded into the Asian market by planting our flag in Singapore. Our Singapore office will initially cover the Asian market to include mainland China. We also started an Accounting & Finance practice group in Tampa while expanding and moving our Tampa Search offices.
   
• FY 2008 was our first full year with our new equity partner, HIG Capital. In July 2007, HIG Capital made a significant investment in Lucas Group and it has been a very positive relationship.

Lucas Group is positioned to successfully navigate through the upcoming year and emerge stronger. With the demographics and baby boom retirements in our favor, the golden years for the human capital industry and Lucas Group are in our future. Our best days lay ahead.
